He was predeceased by: his parents, Tipton Hubbard Denton and Christine Betts Denton; his wife Dona Lee Denton; his son Chad Wayne Denton; his siblings, Dick Hubbard Denton and Marjorie; and his brother-in-law Ed Rinehart.
He is survived by: his niece Amy Denton; his daughter Sherri Denton Mallory; his son-in-law Peter A. Mallory; his granddaughter Mary Christine "Mimi" Mallory of Dallas; his brother Tom Tipton Denton; and his sisters-in-law, Sarah Denton of Stillwater, Oklahoma., Carrie Lyn Akin of Pottsboro and Marilyn Denton of Anchorage.
