She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Russ and Fleta Russ; her husband Hayes Swearingen; and her siblings, Jack, Robert, Winston, Donald and Barbara.

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Hammock (Gerald), Debbie Daniels (Paul), Sandy Ford (Al), Gary Swearingen (Ladyne) and Jerry Swearingen; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hammock, Jennifer Laster (Bobby), Ashley Daniels, Erika Schade (Ricky), Alan Ford (Hannah), Jared Swearingen (Adrianna) and Alex Ford; and her great grandchildren, Henson Hayes Swearingen, Hazel Ford and Benjamin Swearingen.
