With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nell Reese Hand Kirkland of Panama City, Florida, who passed away on September 15, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother W. C. Hand; her husband B. F. Kirkland; and her siblings, Virginia Anderson, Myrtle Day, Jessup Hand and Homer Hand.
She is survived by: her son Travis Kirkland (Wanda); her granddaughters, Audra Reese Derrenberger (Shawn) and Avis Armstrong (John Wayne); her great grandchildren, William, Lorelai Reese, Benjamin and Isaac Derrenberger; her brother Rev. Clarence Hand Sr.; and her niece Cathy Starling. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
