She was predeceased by: her parent Arlene Butler Arlene'Brown'Butler of Panama City; her husband Chester Butler; and her siblings, Arthur C. Brown, John Milton Brown, Alexander Brown, Lorenzo Brown, Clarence Brown, Henry Smith, Bass Smith, Rebecca Brown, Vinna Peterson, Irene Reed, Vera Hicks, Larcenia Faison, Ruby Lee Strickland and Hilda Mae'Middleton'Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Charlie James Smith (Rosemarie), Charles Green (Daisey) of Thonotosassa, FL, Chester Butler, Jr. (Irma) of Miami, FL, Larry Butler (Rose) of Miami, FL, Bertha Myers (Steve) of Ocala, FL and Virginia Blevins (Keith) of Miami, FL; her siblings, Leonard Brown (Phyllis), Willie James Smith (Geraldine), Willie Brown (Betty) and Vida Mae Campbell (John); and her grandchildren, Desmond Smith (Elfrida), Deana Smith, Lydell Smith (Victoria) and Jorrell Smith. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
