He is survived by: his son Mitchell Monroe Morris, Jr.; his grandson Michael Galen Morris; his great grandchild Emma Talley; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Morris, Margie Powell Davis, Martha Powell Greeson and Butch Powell. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
