He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph E. Moates and Georgia Lee Moates. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Wayne (Jennifer), Steven, Brittany and Angela; his sister Kim Robertson (Nat); his nephew Cameron; and his niece Carly (Tripp). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
