He was predeceased by: his father Ezekiel Smith; his sisters, Karen Stokes and Jackie Jones; and his granddaughter Stella. He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Adams (Chris); his mother Thelma Lee Rogers Stokes; his stepson Shawn May (Laura); his grandchildren, Mason, Luna, Ashton, Zackary, Kevin and Jaxon; and his siblings, Gary Breeding (Debbie), Charles Stokes, Sheila Stokes (Gene) and Katherine Rogers (Joseph).
