She was predeceased by: her son Christopher Higgins; and her parents, Gus Pappas and Kathryn Pappas. She is survived by: her husband Steven Hough; her brothers, James Pappas of Panama City, FL and Bill Pappas of Athens, GA; her nieces, Eugenia Becknell of Spartanburg, SC and Angela Cave of Madison, FL; and her nephew Christopher Pappas of Apopka, FL..
