She was predeceased by: her father Grady Nix; and her niece Melissa Eugenia Wexler. She is survived by: her mother LaDorn Nix (Anderson); her husband Anthony B. Hill Jr.; her children, Kathryn Guerino and Tony Hill (Dana); her granddaughters, Tiffany Guerino and Hannah Hill; her sisters, Jean Wade and Brenda Mattingly; her nieces, Marlene Chislom and Cindy Smiling; and her nephew Bobby Clarke.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home (2403 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL 32405). A reception was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
To honor LaNita, the family suggests making a donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) or the American Red Cross Organization in place of flowers.
