She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Massey and Gladys Massey; her husband Samuel W. Parker Jr.; her siblings, Opal Workman, Ruby Taylor, Henry and Lewis Massey; and her children-in-law, Everette Ward and Candace Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Adana Ward, Samuel Parker III (Rhonda), Michael Parker (Joy) and Christopher Parker (Tricia); and her grandson Brian Ward. She is also survived by her four children, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
