He is survived by: his children, Curtis Fitzgerald, Sr. (Cheryl) of North Carolina, Kim Letai (Attila) of Florida, Joyce Vanstory (Reginald) of Connecticut, Toni Fitzgerald of Florida, John Fitzgerald, Jr. of Connecticut and Leanne Wright of Florida; his sister Pearl Fitzgerald of New York; his daughter Lesley Anne Smith of Pennsylvania; his grandson Curtis N. Fitzgerald, Jr. of North Carolina; and his great grandchild Matthias Fitzgerald (Evelyn Fitzgerald). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
