He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Gaines and Betty Gaines (Paterson); his daughter Covina Gaines; and his brothers, Johnny Pickett and Jammie Gaines (Tabora). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
