With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry David Strickland of Panama City, Florida, who passed away on June 30, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyce Strickland and Evelyn Strickland; his son Parrish Strickland; and his siblings, Lydia Hughes and Richard Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bedsole Strickland; his children, Marlean Strickland and Guy (Christina Strickland) of Panama City; his sister Gayle Lynch (Alex) of Panama City; his grandchildren, Devin Klaymeier of Pike Creek, TX, Nathan Klaymeier of San Antonio, TX, Summerlyn Strickland Williams (Richard) of Panama City, Taylor Strickland (Baylee) of Shalimar, FL, Gracie Strickland of Birmingham, AL, Owen Strickland of Tallassee, AL. and Collin Jones of Tallassee, AL; and his great grandchildren, Lyla, Charlie and Lemon.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Helping Hands Ministry or the Building Fund at Hiland Park Baptist Church in memory of Jerry Strickland.
