He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Childers and Laura Sullivan Childers; and his wife Jacqueline Burgess Childers. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Louise Jacques (Robert Jacques) and Jason Burgess Childers; his granddaughters, Whitni Louise Beltran (Gary Beltran), Kalyn Jacques Cowart (Michael Cowart) and Destiny Nicole Jacques; his great grandchildren, Makiyah Beltran, Jayden Kelley, Zoe Beltran, Ezekiel Beltran and Arabella Cowart; and his grandchildren, Buddi Barry "Gee" and Jutharat Khuchai.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Southerland Family Funeral Homes and Crematory (100 E 19th St, Panama City, FL 32405). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
