It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alton Rogers Jr. of Panama City, Florida, who passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alton, Sr. and Doris Melton Rogers; and his siblings, Sue R. Mitchell and Glendon Rogers. He is survived by: his children, Jason A. Rogers of Morristown, TN and Jessica Cherry (Ryan) of Bristol, FL; his grandchildren, Ansley, Lucas, Joey Rogers, Laurel and Adelaide Cherry; his great grandchild Ava Velez; and his siblings, Dorothy Swanson (Larry) and Glenn Rogers (Amy). He is also survived by extended family and lifelong friends.
