He is survived by: his wife Helen Pittman Daniel; his daughter Cristina Soares Overdorp; his grandchildren, Antonio Batalha of Portugal and Vera Batalha of Portugal; his great grandchild Lewis Mitchell Overdorp (Lisa) of Pensacola; his stepson John Daniel (Celia); and also Helen Daniel Overdorp.
