He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Davis Sr. and Faye Fern Whitlock; his wife Mary Jo Davis; his son Larry Davis; and his grandson Robert Clay Hood.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Sims, Nedra Butcher and Buck Davis; his children, Steve Davis (Sharon), John Newman (Tammy), Lorene Godwin (J. D.) and Barbara Monter (Jeff); his daughter-in-law Debbie Davis; his grandchildren, Chad Prescott, Jamie Meadors (Cherie), Christina Deegins (John), John Paul Davis (Heather), C. J. Newman and Amanda Cernicek (Garrett); and his great grandchildren, Harper, Henry Cernicek, Hayley Deegins, Tyler Carpenter, Taylor Meadors, McKenzie Meadors, Mako Brown, Cruz Thorpe, Coral Taylor, Kailyn Cromartie, Paris Davis, Joey Davis, Lucas Hood and Justin Brewer (Kiera).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home (2403 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL 32405). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob's name may be made to Hospice of Emerald Coast.
