Gracie Howes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gracie Howes of Panama City, Florida, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gracie Howes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Angus and Inez Gillis; her husband John C. Howes; her brother Grady Gillis; and her son-in-law Mark Cooper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cumi Walsingham (Gary) and Linda Cooper of Panama City; her brother James Ray Gillis (Nancy) of Crestview; her grandchildren, Mike Walsingham (Pam), Sherri Walsingham and Christina Cooper; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob and Leah Walsingham. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (1529 Mulberry Ave, Panama City, FL 32405). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
