He was predeceased by: his parents, Myles Monroe Nelson, Sr. and Bertha Mae Bush Nelson; his wife Debbie; his son Ward Facer; his siblings, Myles Jr., Charles, Fred, Jimmy, Bertha, Barbara Ann and Carol; and his friend Joe Attaway.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susie Nelson, Haley Nelson and Melinie Facer; his grandchild Telisa Stall; his son Gerald Nelson, Jr.; his former wife Carolyn Davis; his grandchildren, Brandi Charette, Alexis Winsett, Gerald Nelson III, Trinity, Breanna Barfield, Amber and Sara Myers; his great grandchildren, Izabella and Briley Charette; and his siblings-in-law, Alvin Barry, Patsy and Betty Nelson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens (Callaway, FL 32404).
