He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Hughes and Nora Hughes; and his sisters, Geraldine Hughes and Harriet Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Debra Cooper (Mark), Marty Hughes (Jill Valdesalice) and Michael Hughes (Jeannine Mann); his grandchildren, Eric Cooper (Tara), Torie Cooper, Joshua Hughes and Melissa Hughes; his great grandchildren, Xander Cooper and Laina Cooper; and his siblings, James Hughes (Mary) and Louise Newsome.
