We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2025, at the age of 96, George John Dillon Sr. (Panama City, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harden Jackson Dillon and Susie Wilburn Dillon. He is survived by: his wife Benedetta Diliberto Dillon; and his children, Sandra Dillon Cutcliffe (Jay Winters), George "Buddy" J. Dillon Jr. (Betty), Sharron L. Dillon, Roy A. Dillon (Susan) and Brian Matt Dillon (Diane). He is also survived by seven great-great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Wounded Warriors, or the Veterans of Foreign Wars honoring George's lifelong passions.
