She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Hayslip and Mattie Keel Hayslip; her husband Charles Sr.; and her children, Charles Jr., Martha Pitts, Patricia Payne and Michael McSwiney.

She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Porter; her son-in-law Dale; her sons, Rory McSwiney and Stephen McSwiney; her daughters-in-law, Cheryl McSwiney, Wanda McSwiney and Barbara Wilson; and her sisters, Nell Williams and Julia "Judy" Wiley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; numerous grandchildren; great and great-great-grandchildren.

“So sorry for your loss. 😢 A very special lady … I got to know her when we both worked at the Mall in the same time period. Last time I talk to her maybe a week or so before she died. She was so happy that she made it to her 100 years but she was starting to sound a little frail on the phone. 🥺 it was so amazing how much her family cared for her her and took care of her. She is at rest now in Gods loving memory waiting for him to signal the resurrection that he yearns to do for us all soon.”
