He was predeceased by: his mother Dixie Donalson; his sister Jeanette Wells; and his son Jason Morton. He is survived by: his granddaughter Emily Morton; and his sisters, Bonnie Stephens and Carolyn Sheppard. He is also survived by two nieces; two nephews; and several grand and great-grandnieces and nephews.
