He was predeceased by: his parents, James Madison Russell and Augusta "Gussie" Bozeman Russell; his brothers, Doyle Russell, James "Jimmie" Russell and Elmer "Lolly" Gene Russell; his former wife Ruth Lavaun Tibbits Russell; his stepson Freddy Dean Branham; and his grandsons, Jeffery Branham and Douglas Branham.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Barfield Russell; his daughter Jennifer Deanna Bracho (Pedro); his stepdaughter Marian Miller; his son Jamie Madison Russell (Kerrie); his stepson Larry Miller (Tina); his grandchildren, Austin Russell, Garret Bracho, Ivan Bracho, Veronica Bracho, Raquel Bracho, Stacey Branham, Clinton Branham, Deanna Branham, Jared Branham, Wesley Alday, Justin Alday (Annie), Kayla Sandusky (Bradley), Heather Miller and Johnathan Miller; his sisters, Louise Roe and Mildred Cobb; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Melvin, Jacqueline Kelley, Leigh Weinrich, Angie Russell, Carol June Porter, Tracy Thompson, James "Jim" Roe and Russell Gardner Roe.
