David Lawrence McSpadden Sr. Obituary
We bid farewell to David Lawrence McSpadden Sr. of Panama City, Florida, born in Trumann, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 14, 2025 at the age of 84. David Lawrence touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy E. McSpadden (Woodard); his parents, Henry C. McSpadden and Nona J. McSpadden (Halfacre); his brothers, Darrell McSpadden and Dr. Robert McSpadden; and his sons, David L. McSpadden Jr. and Darren H. McSpadden.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dick McSpadden (Ann) of Royston, GA and Mollie Arthur (Dave) of Roanoke, VA; his daughter Theresa; his daughter-in-law Yolanda McSpadden of Youngstown, FL; his stepdaughter Sarah Tanaka of Baxley, GA; and his caregivers, Ruby Outlaw and Mary Jo Johnson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM and on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at the Dorough Cemetery.
