She was predeceased by: her father James Bookout; her husband Gordon Tappan; and her son Raymond Marshall Tappan. She is survived by: her mother Evelyn Bookout; her grandchildren, Jae Tappan, Leonardo Pope, Michelangelo Pope and Kiley Tappan-Voris; and her siblings, Dr. James M. Bookout, Linda A. Bookout and Carol L. Leger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Tabernacle Church (2540 Fairland Ave, Panama City, FL 32405). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Westville Cemetery (2061 US-90, Westville, FL 32464).
