He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Shellie Woods; his parents, Jerry Blount and Stella Blount; his brother Christopher Blount; his brother-in-law Brad Woods; his nephews, Tobi Blount and Dean Woods; and his niece Jenny Woods.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Building Fund of Lynn Haven United Methodist Church, 4501 Transmitter Road, Panama City, FL 32404 in memory of Allyn Burgess.
