We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2025, at the age of 95, Vernell W Gibbs of Panama City Beach, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Vernell shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Vernell farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorena Devine and Farris Randle Watts; her husband James Earl Gibbs, Jr.; and her son James Michael Gibbs. She is survived by: her daughter Judy Carlene Miller (Jobie); her nephew Randy Watts; and her niece Donna Watts.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (2403 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL 32405).
