It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Noboru Akiyama of Panama City Beach, Florida, born in Culver City, California, who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Steven find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tokyo Akiyama and Naga Akiyama; his brother Russell Akiyama; his wife Debi; his sons, Mark and Beaver; and his siblings, Dave, Glenn and Roxanne. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Destiny Worship Center (13300 Panama City Beach Pkwy, Panama City Beach, FL 32407). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In honor of Steve, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
