Quave; her children, Julie Quave Sanders (Herb) and Gerald "Jay" Quave, Jr.; her grandchildren, Olivia Quave, Molly Quave and Douglas Sanders; her great grandchildren, James and Nathan Sanders; her siblings, Emmett Joseph Chassaniol, Jr. (Lydia) and Emily Chassaniol Handwerker (Buz); her cousin Michael Spencer Mallette; her friend Vesta Hollis; her caregiver Tracy Robinson; her friend Hanneke Gast; her caregivers, Mike Mallette, Dee Jackson, Branda, Beth, Carla and Essence; and also Lee Ann Strangi Dubaz. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and a wide circle of friends.
