He is survived by: his parents, Martin S. Piatt and Hilda A. Piatt; his wife Rosa Marie Piatt of Florida; his son David Garry Piatt of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Jessica Piatt of David Piatt and Andrew Piatt; his siblings, Charlies Piatt of Delaware, Rose Stillings of Delaware, Mildred Rose (Sketter), Cecelia Bailey and Midge Gram; and his stepchildren, Franklin Robinson, Contessa Robinson Webb, Eric, Janell Lott, Melvin and Rosa Hinton.
