He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest M. Padgett and Patricia McElvany Padgett. He is survived by: his girlfriend Berta Phelps; and his daughters, Annette C. Padgett, Ramona Pinto (Henry) and Amanda Ganley (Steve). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
