She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus J. Brackin, Sr. and Verna Mildred Smith Brackin; her former husband Billy Wayne Creel; her siblings, Frances Holmes, Mildred Newman, Betty Jean Parker, Henrietta Gray, Shirley Bumpus and Rufus "Buster" Brackin, Jr.; and her stepson Gregory Prokopchuk.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Charles Prokopchuk; her son Phillip Wayne Creel (Melany); her stepdaughter Wendy Prokopchuk Perez of Jacksonville, FL; her sister Cathy Ross; and her grandchildren, Andrew Creel, Jack Creel, Marigrace Creel and Sara Claire Creel. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
