He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lou Welch (Minshew); his sister Marilyn J Welch; and his father James G. Welch. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Welch; his children, Jodi Welch Coney (Phil) of Davie, FL, Madeleine Welch of Randolph, NJ and Matthew Welch of New Orleans, LA; his stepson Mica Longwell of Anderson, SC; his siblings, James G. Welch III of Panama City, FL and Judy Booth of Houston, TX; and his grandchildren, Emma Coney, Nathan Coney, Grey Longwell and Rayla Longwell.
