He was predeceased by: his parents, Lesby White, Sr. and Winnie Alvis Winters White; and his siblings, Jean Abbott, John Wayne White, Cecil White and Freddie White.
He is survived by: his wife Kay White; his daughters, Lisa Kendall (Shannon), Leslie Hogue (Brian), Allison Bowen (Blake), Ann Marie Cook (Daniel) and Tricia Arnold (Chad); and his grandchildren, Alea Scribner, Riley Arnold, Anna Briggs, Brailynn Bowen, Beckett Kendall, Kole Hogue and Trotter Cook.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sonny's name to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
