Lela Earline Gibbons Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Earline Gibbons of Panama City Beach, Florida, born in Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Wright and Mandy Wright; her husband Farrell O'Neil Gibbons of Thorsby, AL; and her siblings, Carolyn Wright Keenan and Michael Lynn Wright.
She is survived by: her sons, Farrell O'Neil Gibbons, Jr. (Cheryl) and Mark Timothy Gibbons (Deborah) of Lynn Haven, FL; her grandchildren, Logan Gibbons (Katie) of Deatsville, AL, Emily Gibbons of San Antonio, TX and Caroline Gibbons; her great grandchildren, Corbin Gibbons and Brynlee Gibbons; and her nieces, Vanessa Churchwell Morris and Jacque Churchwell Siebenschuh.
The family asks that anyone in attendance, please wear a mask and observe COVID-19 guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Optimist Club of the Beaches Childhood Cancer Fund at 132 Escanaba Avenue, Panama City Beach 32413, in memory of Mrs. Gibbons.
