He is survived by: his wife Grace Pilkington Harper; and his children, Grace Kelley of Prattville, AL, Joseph Franklin Harper, III (Linda) of Destin, FL, Alice Gross (Stan) of Hollywood, AL, Mary Hyde (Eddie) of Knoxville, TN and John Pilkington Harper (Margaret). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Woodlawn Methodist Church in memory of Joseph Franklin Harper, Jr.
