He was predeceased by: his parents, Peral Burroughs and Willie E. Nolan; and his daughter Chetta Ross (Dwight). He is survived by: his wife Ailene G. Nolan; his daughter Catherine Benton (Greg); and his stepchildren, Nancy Freeman (Stephen), Tommy Miller (Molly) and Robert Miller (Laura). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; seven great-great children.
