He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Conrad and Esther Conrad; his brothers, Lynwood Conrad and Gerald Conrad; his former wife Gwen Newbern Conrad; and his stepson David Stomackin.
He is survived by: his wife Arleen Conrad; and his children, John Devoe Conrad (Rhonda), Harold Nixon "Nicky" Conrad Jr. (Jane), Glen Frank Conrad (Jane) and Lynn Kneese (Ed). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Harold's name to one of the following charitable organizations: Florida State University Foundation, Gulf Coast State College Foundation or the Boys and Girls Clubs of Bay County.
