We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2023, at the age of 89, Elbert Gene Lancaster of Panama City Beach, Florida, born in Faison, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lehman Lancaster and Katie Thompson Lancaster; his wife Nancy Byrd Lancaster; his daughter Nancy "Lynn" Lancaster; his brothers, Hubert and George Lancaster; and his granddaughter Felicia Lee Lancaster.
He is survived by: his sons, Elbert Gene Lancaster Jr. (Cindy), James Mark Lancaster (Wilda) and Jeffrey Scott Lancaster (Jill); and his grandchildren, Gene, Jessica, Andrea, Christie, Chris, Scott, Josh and Sarah. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren: numerous nieces and nephews.
