She was predeceased by: her parents, Adrian A. Rhode and Hattie S. Rhode; and her brothers, Adrian L. Rhode and Edward A. Rhode. She is survived by: her children, Victoria Ann Pledger (James), James W. Barnes, III, Adrian J. Barnes, Joseph J. Barnes (Terri) and Samuel D. Barnes. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
