He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sr. Eure and Nola Eure. He is survived by: his wife Susan Eure; his children, Carl "Trey" E. Eure III of Missoula, MT and Anji Gustafson (Stefan); his grandson George of Mars, PA.; and his siblings, Alice Reid (Rhett) of Laurel, MS, Karen Cook (Robert) of Lebanon, TN and Jeff Eure (Melissa) of Inlet Beach, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
