She was predeceased by : her parents, Hugh Marion Kershaw and Almedia Clayton Kershaw; her siblings, Nancy Ellison (Bob), Grace Golden (Orville) and Albert Kershaw (Dot); and her son James Luther Stewart Jr. (James Luther Stewart Sr.). She is survived by : her daughters, Linda Allen (Jim) and Gail Fannin; her grandchildren, Michele Cuchens (Joel), Jill Dixon (John) and John Allen; her great grandchild Molly Ledbetter (Kody); and her great great grandchild Kaden Ray Ledbetter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Freeport.

“To The Family of Annie Joyce Kershaw Stewart: Please accept my condolences on the recent death of your loved one. I am a distant relative of Mrs. Stewart, my father was Ernest Kershaw of Gadsden, (Ball Play, Glencoe, Hokes Bluff,) Alabama. Grace Golden was married on the day I was born. My daddy died June 1992 and my mother, Beatrice Robertson Kershaw died June 2004. My parents talked of Hugh and Almedia Kershaw & I met them at the church in Wellington on Decoration Day. God's Peace to you.”
