He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Butler and Eula Ruffin Butler; his children, Kimberly Lynn Butler, Sam Palmer and Hank Palmer; his brothers, Quintin Butler, Deloyd Butler, Marvin Butler, Jack Butler and David Butler; and his son-in-law Clifton Brock.
He is survived by: his wife Mamie Louise Bush Butler; and his children, Stacie Huser (Jeff), Sammie Akridge (Deleon), Mimi Brock and Laura Tallent (Junior). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
