He is survived by: his parents, Homer Harrell and Elma Southall; his wife Irene; his children, Walter Alfred Harrell of Crawfordville, Winston Arnold Harrell of Crawfordville, Wendell Austin Harrell of Crawfordville, Twanna "Harrell" Hertz and Tara "Harrell" Nichols; and his siblings, James A. Harrell, Edna Harper and Aletha Nipper. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
