She is survived by: her parents, Hendricus Brouwer (Hank) and Helena Brouwer; her sons, David Nethery and Josh Buterbaugh; and her siblings, Afra Wade (Ted), Maria Rutter (Mark), Peter Brouwer (Michelle), Casey Brouwer (Patricia), Henry Brouwer (Libby) and Daniel Brouwer (Sheila). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (505 26th St W, Palmetto, FL 34221).
