She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert A. Treese and Eva Treese (Stiver); her former husbands, Richard Rutherford and John R. Schmerbeck; her grandchild J. R. Kane; and her great grandchildren, Jared Verba, Eliott Barrett, Edison Barrett, Ezra Barrett and Maeve Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Kane (Kerby) of Huntingdon, PA, Richard A. Schmerbeck of Pinellas Park, FL and Lisa Lord (Christopher) of Birmingham, AL.; her husband William of Palmetto, FL.; and her grandchildren, Lynn Merrell (Chris), Nathaniel Schmerbeck, Jessica Lord-Latner (Bree), Emily Lord (Michael Hamilton), Erynn Lord Barrett (Jeremiah), Nicholas Doiron, Sophie Doiron (Chris Saunders), Olive Doiron and Whitley Canezo.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the John B. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. (417 Washington St, Huntingdon, PA 16652). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her honor to the Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 Old School House Hollow Road, Huntingdon PA 16652.
