He was predeceased by: his parents, Kazimir Stojanowski and Magdalen Mary Stojanowski (Senczuk); his son Timothy Sterling; his wife Barbara (Braman); and his half-siblings, Wally Gural and Mary Long (Gural).
He is survived by: his girlfriend Paula Borrero of Palmetto, FL; his children, Mark Sterling (Sue) of Tawas City, Claudia King (Owen) of Tawas City and David Sterling (Annie) of Kingston, MI; and his grandchildren, Rachelle, Dylan, Aaron, Jasmine, Kerri, Kyle, Shawn, Jennifer, Joshua, Bianca, Zackary, Alexa and Cameron. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (5300 N Huron Rd, Oscoda, MI 48750). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
