He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pensacola High of Florida and Junior High; his children, Sylvia Whitfield of Palm Harbor, Florida and Robert C. Pierce of Weeki Wachee, Florida; his brothers, Gene and David Pierce of Cantonment, Florida; his grandchildren, Richard Whitfield, Stephanie Krout, Nicole Whitfield and Rachael Pierce; and his great grandchildren, Varik, Alaric Whitfield, Rylee, Talon Flanders and Ava Whitfield.
