Robert Frank Salvidio, Sr Obituary
On March 10, 2023 Robert F. Salvidio, Sr passed away peacefully at home. He was born in Worcester, MA and moved to Norwich, CT as a child. He worked at his father’s bar, Frank’s Grill for many years. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1950-1954 and is a Korean War veteran. In 2000, he retired to Palm Harbor, FL where he spent the last 22 years enjoying his favorite pastime, shooting pool at Stroker’s where he became a part of the Stroker’s family Jose, Lyshia, and their kids and many friends.
He leaves behind two sisters Rita Woodhull, Rosemarie Cathcart, and brother Frank Salvidio Jr. He was predeceased by sister Gloria Gates. He is survived by sons, Robert Salvidio Jr, (Janet) Michael Salvidio (Patricia), and daughter Carmella Ververis (Jon). Four grandkids Chelsea, Tony,(Gabrielle) Lana (Nuwan), Gina, and five great-grandchildren, Gracie, Maya, Emma, Jordan and Naomi. He was lucky enough to have a bonus family for the last 22 years in Florida who meant the world to him, Jason Richko (Carly), Gianna, Bianca and Bella. We would like to thank his neighbors Bill and Patty for all the years they treated him as family and we appreciate that he was able to stay home in his final days thanks to the care of his son-in-law.
